A Noblelift dealer registered in Scotland
Pristine Material Handling is a trading name of Pristine Group Inc Ltd, registered in Scotland under company number SC660890 and part of Pristine Group. Our unit is at Unit 2D, R6 Industrial Estate, Queen Anne Drive, Newbridge, EH28 8LH, and every area on this page is served from there.
As an authorised Noblelift dealer we sell new trucks: forklifts from 0.8 to 18 tonnes, reach trucks, very narrow aisle trucks, cold storage trucks, pallet trucks and electric stackers. We are also an authorised PUDU Robotics dealer.
Areas we cover from Newbridge
Four areas have their own page, with the local routes, estates and drive times.
- Forklift trucks in Edinburgh: Newbridge is inside the City of Edinburgh boundary, about 7 miles from Sighthill Industrial Estate.
- Forklift trucks in Livingston and West Lothian: Livingston is about 9 miles west along the M8, and East Mains Industrial Estate in Broxburn is about 3 miles from us on the A89.
- Forklift trucks in Fife: over the Queensferry Crossing on the M90, with the Port of Rosyth about 10 miles from Newbridge.
- Forklift trucks in Falkirk, Grangemouth and Stirling: Falkirk town centre and the Port of Grangemouth are each about 18 miles away, off Junction 5 of the M9.
Distances from Newbridge to the Central Belt, Perth and Dundee
Our estate is close to the Newbridge roundabout, Junction 1 of the M9. The M9 runs north-west to Falkirk and Stirling and, to the south, meets the M8 at that motorway's Junction 2. Junction 1A at Kirkliston leads to the M90 and the Queensferry Crossing for Fife and Perth. The figures below assume clear roads, so allow longer at peak times.

Glasgow and Lanarkshire
We have no premises in Glasgow or Lanarkshire. Sites there are supplied from Newbridge, mostly along the M8. Eurocentral, the industrial estate beside the motorway near Holytown, has distribution centres and a rail freight centre, and Junction 6 at Newhouse is the westbound exit signed for it. Bellshill Industrial Estate, reached from Junction 7A by the A725 Bellshill Bypass, is about 28 miles from our unit, and Glasgow city centre is about 37 miles, or about 45 minutes off-peak. Wardpark, the Cumbernauld industrial estate split by the M80, is reached by the M9 and the M876.
Our nearest engineers are in Edinburgh. At this distance the specification and survey can be handled remotely or with a visit.
Scottish sectors and the trucks that fit
A starting point for four kinds of site found across Scotland:
- Ports: Forth Ports runs the ports at Leith, Rosyth, Grangemouth and Dundee. For heavier loads outdoors, heavy-duty forklifts run from 4 to 18 tonnes, as A2 Series lithium-ion trucks (IPX4 rated, for indoor and outdoor use) or A Series IC trucks on diesel or LPG.
- Distribution along the M8, from Deans Industrial Estate, which straddles the motorway north of Livingston, to Eurocentral in Lanarkshire: reach trucks from 1.5 to 2 tonnes, including the ProH High-Lift Reach Truck that lifts to 12.5 m, and very narrow aisle trucks for 1.6 m and 1.7 m aisles with 1200 × 800 mm pallets.
- Food, drink and cold stores: the cold storage range has the NP Series Cold Store Electric Forklift, rated 1.6 to 3.5 tonnes, and the Cold Store Reach Truck, which lifts to 9.5 m.
- Builders' merchants, timber yards and farm yards: rough terrain forklifts from 1.8 to 3.5 tonnes, with IC engine trucks in 2WD or 4WD and a 2WD electric model.
How support works away from Edinburgh
Our engineers work from three locations: Edinburgh, Newcastle and Worthing. For the trucks we supply, they carry out installation, servicing, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, and we supply genuine parts. Every new truck comes with a 12-month parts and labour warranty as standard.
Edinburgh is our engineering location in Scotland. For a site a long way from it, give the location when you enquire so support can be discussed with the specification. See forklift servicing in Edinburgh and the Lothians and service and support.
Buying a truck for a site anywhere in Scotland
A site in the Highlands or the Borders goes through the same four steps as one in Livingston. Galashiels, in the Borders, is about 45 miles from our unit, about 60 minutes off-peak by the City Bypass, the A68 and the A7. Our guide to choosing a forklift, reach truck, stacker or pallet truck helps narrow down the truck type.
- Call 0131 605 0238 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm), email info@pristinemh.com or request a quote, giving the site postcode.
- We agree the specification with you and survey the site, remotely or on a visit.
- You receive a written quotation with the full specification.
- We deliver UK-wide and hand the truck over with operator familiarisation.
