Overview

About this model

Moving pallets across a warehouse floor, or delivering materials to the production line, is repetitive, high-frequency work that ties up people and trucks. The PUDU MP2000 is designed for these floor-level moves. PUDU calls it an AI-native pallet handling robot. In practice it is an autonomous pallet truck that carries up to 2000 kg, maps your site and finds its own way using 3D LiDAR-SLAM and VSLAM. It lifts to 200±5 mm, so it moves pallets at floor level: it is a robotic pallet truck, not a stacker or reach truck.

PUDU offers two versions, and the only published difference is the fork. The MP2000 Standard (MPID01-M) has a 620 mm fork outer width; the MP2000 Narrow Fork (MPID01-N) has a 550 mm fork outer width. Everything else PUDU publishes is the same for both, including 1585 x 910 x 1870 mm overall dimensions, an 80±5 mm lowered fork height and battery life of 12 h unloaded or 6 h at maximum load. PUDU does not say which fork width suits which pallet, so we check your pallets and load carriers before recommending one.

PUDU says the MP2000 extends the delivery and material transport work of its T Series robots into palletised, heavier-load, floor-to-floor transport. If you are weighing up an AMR pallet truck for a UK site, Pristine Material Handling is an authorised PUDU dealer with national engineering coverage. We start from your workflow (routes, pallets, traffic and shift pattern) and advise whether the MP2000, another robot from our automation range or a conventional pallet truck is the right fit. Ask us about availability, or request a quote to start the survey.

Features

What the PUDU MP2000 does

Maps your site without reflectors or QR codes

The MP2000 builds its own map and navigates by 3D LiDAR-SLAM and VSLAM. PUDU states it needs no extensive site modifications, dedicated reflectors or QR codes, or complex platform integration.

Finds, recognises and lines up with the pallet

PUDU says the robot detects storage-location occupancy and pallet positions, recognises three-runner and perimeter-base pallets, and learns to recognise non-standard load carriers. According to PUDU, it adapts to hand-placed pallets offset by up to 15 cm and angled by up to 15°.

Fork insertion in as little as 20 seconds

PUDU quotes fork-in in as little as 20 seconds, with travel speeds of up to 1.6 m/s unloaded and 1.2 m/s loaded.

Right-angle pallet handling in 2 m aisles

PUDU states the MP2000 handles 90° pallet pickup in aisles as narrow as 2 m, with pallet spacing down to 15 cm. The published right-angle stacking aisle width is ≤2000 mm for a 1200 × 1000 mm pallet and ≤1960 mm for a 1200 × 800 mm pallet.

360° sensing for shared floors

According to PUDU, depth cameras, 3D LiDAR and other sensors form a multi-layer safety system that detects people, equipment and obstacles, stopping for or avoiding moving obstacles and rerouting around static ones. PUDU also says it checks load size against the space available, and it handles thresholds up to 10 mm and gaps up to 35 mm.

Manual mode, fleet control and site integration

PUDU states the MP2000 switches between autonomous and manual modes, so an operator can assist when needed. According to PUDU, tasks can be sent via PUDU Link, APIs, voice commands or task buttons, with optional integration with lift controls, automatic doors and other IoT devices. PUDU says a fleet keeps coordinating even when offline.

FAQs

Common questions

What can the PUDU MP2000 carry?

PUDU publishes a max. load of 2000 kg for both versions. PUDU lists support for three-runner and perimeter-base pallets and states it can learn to recognise non-standard load carriers. PUDU's aisle-width figures are based on 1200 × 1000 mm and 1200 × 800 mm pallets carried with the 1200 mm side along the forks. It lifts to 200±5 mm, so it moves and places pallets at floor level only. If you need to lift to height, look at our electric stackers or forklifts. We confirm the right version for your loads at survey.

How does the MP2000 navigate around the site?

It maps the site and navigates by 3D LiDAR-SLAM and VSLAM. PUDU states it needs no dedicated reflectors, QR codes or extensive site modifications. According to PUDU, depth cameras and 3D LiDAR give it 360° perception, and it stops for or avoids moving obstacles, such as people and equipment, and reroutes around static ones. PUDU also states it can be switched to manual mode so an operator can assist when needed.

How is it charged, and how long does it run?

PUDU quotes a charging time of about 2 h at 200V~240Vac, the figure that applies to UK mains, and battery life of 12 h unloaded or 6 h at maximum load. PUDU has not published battery capacity or chemistry. At survey we look at your duty cycle and shift pattern so that charging can be planned around the work.

What does my site need for an autonomous pallet truck?

Routes that sit within PUDU's published limits: gradients up to 3° at full load (8° unloaded), thresholds up to 10 mm and gaps up to 35 mm. For right-angle handling, PUDU publishes an aisle width of ≤2000 mm for 1200 × 1000 mm pallets and ≤1960 mm for 1200 × 800 mm pallets. PUDU states no reflectors or QR codes are needed. If the robot needs to use lifts or automatic doors, PUDU offers optional integration. We check routes, floors, aisle widths, pallets and charging locations during the survey.

How do I arrange a site survey or see the MP2000 working?

Start with an enquiry through our quote form, by phone on 0131 605 0238 (Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm) or by email to info@pristinemh.com. We then specify and survey, remotely or with a site visit, and send a written quotation with the full specification. Delivery and handover include operator familiarisation.
