Overview

About this model

If your team spends the shift moving heavy loads, racks and shelving between goods-in, production lines, stores and dispatch, that is the kind of heavy-payload material transport PUDU says the T600 series is built for. It is a heavy-payload AMR (autonomous mobile robot) that PUDU describes as purpose-built for high-payload, autonomous goods handling in complex industrial environments. PUDU rates both versions at a maximum load of 600 kg and says that capacity reduces delivery frequency and improves efficiency per trip.

The T600 comes in two forms, which PUDU calls "Two Modes, Freely Selectable". The T600 Upright (WTIDL2) has a built-in touchscreen, handlebar and control buttons on an upright column. PUDU states it can be operated directly without a central control system, for tasks that need occasional manual interaction. The T600 Underride (WTIDU2) is a low-profile chassis that PUDU says drives beneath racks or shelves, lifts them and moves them. Both have a lifting height of 60 mm and share the same battery, charging and speed figures. The Upright navigates with VSLAM + LiDAR SLAM and adds ground projection and a handle power-assist switch. The Underride uses LiDAR SLAM only and has a minimum passability of 65 cm, against the Upright's 70 cm.

PUDU presents the T600 as following the PUDU T300, which covers mid-load transport, and as its move into heavy-payload logistics. Both sit within our wider automation range. Pristine Material Handling is an authorised PUDU Robotics dealer with national engineering coverage. We start with your workflow: through a specification and survey we look at your site, routes and loads, then specify the robot and set-up around them. Features

What the PUDU T600 does

Two versions, one series

Choose the Upright where an operator sometimes needs to step in, or the Underride to drive beneath racks and shelves, lift them and move them. PUDU rates both at 600 kg maximum load with a 60 mm lifting height.

Hands-on control when you need it (Upright)

PUDU states the Upright has a built-in screen and can be operated directly without a central control system, and that it has quick-access buttons and front indicator lights. PUDU says its handle power-assist switch lets an operator control the robot by pressing the switch, even when pushing heavy loads.

Rack group recognition

PUDU states the T600 series identifies target storage locations and autonomously performs pick-and-place operations. That is useful where racks or loads are collected from and returned to set storage locations.

Lifts, doors and call points

PUDU lists elevator control, E-gate control, call with pager and management through the Pudu Link app. On sites with several lifts, PUDU says its scheduling calls idle lifts first to avoid peak-time congestion.

Safety features

PUDU lists ground projection of a warning line in front of the robot (Upright only), dynamic obstacle avoidance for low obstacles, and a disaster avoidance module that can receive signals such as fire alarms and send the robot to a safe area or stop and park it at a safe location. Routes are reviewed as part of our specification and survey.

Fits your systems and data policy

PUDU states the T600 is compatible with the VDA5050 communication protocol for collaborative scheduling with other compliant robots and systems. PUDU also states it supports on-premises or private cloud deployment, keeping data within internal networks.

FAQs

Common questions

What can the PUDU T600 carry?

PUDU publishes a maximum load of 600 kg and a lifting height of 60 mm for both versions. PUDU says the Underride drives beneath racks or shelves, lifts them and moves them, and PUDU's images show the Upright lifting and carrying a loaded wheeled frame. Whether the T600 suits your loads, frames or racks and your site is checked during specification and survey.

How does the T600 navigate?

The Upright uses VSLAM + LiDAR SLAM and the Underride uses LiDAR SLAM only. PUDU states the series detects low obstacles and navigates around them, and in narrow aisles chooses single-lane or dual-lane traffic based on path width and the robots' load dimensions. PUDU also says it can adapt to changes in production layouts without time-consuming reconfiguration or facility modifications.

How is it charged, and how long does it run?

Both versions have a 30 Ah battery, a published charging time of 2 H (from 0% to 90%) and a run-time of 12 H (none load), meaning with no load. PUDU states the series offers both automatic recharging and battery replacement options. PUDU does not publish run-time under load, so charging is planned around your shifts and duty cycle during specification and survey.

What does my site need?

PUDU publishes a minimum passability of 70 cm (Upright) and 65 cm (Underride), a maximum surmountable height of 10 mm, a maximum surmountable gap of 35 mm and an operating environment of 0°C ~ 40°C. In practice that means clear routes, with thresholds and gaps, such as at lift entrances, within those limits. For the Underride, racks or shelves need room for the chassis to drive beneath them. PUDU does not publish a gradient figure, so ramps, lifts and doors on the route are checked during specification and survey.

How do I get started with a PUDU T600?

Tell us what moves, where and how often through our quote form, on 0131 605 0238 or at info@pristinemh.com (Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm). We then carry out a specification and survey, remotely or with a site visit. That is followed by a written quotation with full specification, then delivery and handover with operator familiarisation. Ask us about availability and whether a demonstration can be arranged for your site.
